Key features of Work Scope:

The project involved the construction of two new ports in Jask and Queshm, and the improvement of the port facilities in Bandar Lengeh. ,The breakwater and quay for Jask Port was constructed using 4000 tonnes of steel sheet piles. The quantity of granular fill and concrete used was 70,000 m3 and 15,000 m3, respectively.

In Bandar Lengeh, the extension and repair works of existing rubble mound breakwater of 90,000 m3 were completed. A 1,400 on sheet pile quay for 3,000 DTW vessels was constructed. 400,000 m3 of dredging was done for harbour basin and entrance channel. The quantity of concrete was 5,000 m3.

In addition, a warehouse and several buildings around each port were constructed. Water distribution, electrical installation and sewerage system works were also completed as required for each port.
