Key features of Work Scope:
Drilling holes of 10 meters and placing anodes of 28.000 nos along the pipe route and 287 km cable.
The project was the installation of cathodic protection system against corrosion of the 4 m diameter pre-stressed concrete pipe line conveying drinkable water from Libyan Desert to seashore.
The works consisted of installation of 24.175 zinc anodes and laying of 266.000 m of cable.
The location of the project is between Jalu and Sarir, about 250-400 km south of the city of Ajdabia on the Mediterranean coast.

Scope of work consisted of:
    · Supply and mobilization of mobile camp facilities,
    · Drilling of 24.175 nos 8,9 m holes, installation of zinc anodes and pumping of chemical backfill,
    · Laying of 266.000 header cable including opening of 1,5 m wide, 1,5 m deep trench, laying sand bedding, laying the cable, laying the sand cover, and backfilling the rest with the existing material and compaction,
    · Performance of all tests regarding these works.
